Preview Diana Krall's New Album, Quiet Nights, On Monday

Verve Records will release Diana Krall’s new album ‘Quiet Nights,’ on March 31st, but here at we'll be previewing the album starting Monday 3/30, the day before the official release. The romantic album combines Brazilian and west coast jazz styles and features three recordings of songs by bossa nova legend Antonio Carlos Jobim.

Diana Krall to release Brazilian jazz record

"Quiet Nights," to be released on March 31, is Krall's CD of new material in three years. The 10 songs include ballads, three recordings of songs by bossa nova legend Antonio Carlos Jobim, and standards such as "Walk On By" by Burt Bacharach. Krall was inspired to make the the record following a trip to Brazil last year.
